We're seeking Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineers to develop RESTful API's and write SQL queries, functions, and triggers.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain data collection applications that gather performance and availability.
• Design, code, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain data processing pipelines that process data collected by numerous data collector applications and load that data for use by data analysts and our data science teams.
• Participate in technical discussions with product owners, development teams, and data scientists as part of architecting new data collection strategies and applications.
• Develop reusable modules to support deployment of applications.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines used to build, test, and deploy applications and data processing pipelines.
• Clearly and accurately document and illustrate application and pipeline designs.
• Design and implement automation tooling to automate the testing and deployment of our data collectors and data processing pipelines.
• Design and implement dashboards and alarms to provide observability into all of our data collecting and data processing pipeline applications.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical field.
• 2+ years of overall industry experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years' experience in Python programming and unit testing in a Linux environment, both as a development workstation and application server.
• 2+ years' experience designing and building applications that use threading and concurrency (Go, Python, Java).
• Proficient using SQL (in its various flavors) on SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Google BigQuery)
