Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by consulting with users, studying system flow, data usage, and work processes. Anticipate problems using the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problem definitions, requirements, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions through flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and clear coding practices.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
• Support the organization by providing advice, coaching, and participating in product / system design reviews.
• Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior aligned with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Report any quality issues or defects to management for corrective action to prevent recurrence.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally stand. Frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, and focus adjustment.
