Network Operations Center Engineer

A company is looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer to ensure optimal performance of telecommunications technologies. Key Responsibilities Coordinate response on network outages and work with various engineering teams for resolution Perform event notifications and assist with third-party ticket creation for outages Identify and diagnose network performance issues and support resolution efforts Required Qualifications 2-5 years of professional experience in a NOC environment at a telecommunications provider High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Vendor certifications preferred (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Ciena, Calix) Proactive and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Fiber Broadband and IP Network Technologies
