Licensed Practical Nurse - Homecare

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for passionate licensed practical nurses (LPN) to work with patients in their own homes. We are looking for both day shift and night shift nurses to provide long-term care for our medically complex patients. Maxim Healthcare provides comprehensive, paid training for all nurses to ensure they feel fully prepared and confident in their skills before they ever enter a patients home. We currently have pediatric and adult patients on our census that are in-need of one-on-one nursing care.

Starting pay for an LPN is between $30 - $37 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.

• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
