As a leading manufacturer of labeling, coding, and marking equipment, their products are utilized for printing logos, bar codes, lot codes, expiration dates, QR codes, etc. on consumer goods packaging.

Position Overview :
Seeking a talented Product Manager to contribute to the success of the company by driving the growth and profitability for a specific equipment product line. The role works closely with their vendors to ensure that the products being developed and launched allow the company to compete successfully and effectively in the marketplace.
In this role, you will :
Work with Marketing to develop product launches, sales support, educational and promotional materials.Assist sales staff with product demonstrations & custom software / equipment developmentEducate sales staff on new products and / or functionalityWrite technical manuals and test new productsEvaluate repair history and run time of existing equipment; recommend improvementsEvaluate software tools to streamline machinery Surveys / Quoting / Order entryEvaluate existing machinery and recommend spare part kits and pricingSite Survey DevelopmentProvide Print Samples and QuotationsOEM Development and SupportAssist with pricing strategy and create a price listKeep the install base and reference account recordsIdentify vertical markets for field follow-upProject management for large installationsMain liaison for vendor communication in price negotiationsAssist with setting stocking levels for machines and partsMonitor quality issues and resolve vendor-related problemsProduct application review & approval prior to the sale of custom / turnkey applicationsIdentify & understand competitive equipment & create documentation support for sales staffMaintain up-to-date sales & technical resources for intranetQualifications needed :
Technical degree or strong technical aptitudePractical knowledge of packaging equipmentPrevious experience working in a product management role a plusPrevious role conducting training or demos a plusHighly proficient in MS Office (excel, outlook, etc)Working knowledge of Syteline or other fully integrated ERP system.Thrives within a dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Possesses a strong sense of team.Ability to think both critically and creatively to solve problems.Ability to travel 25 – 30 percent of the timeAbility to work out of the corporate office in Fort Worth when not travelingBenefits
