Java Tech lead with React

Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ

Contract Role

Onsite from Day 1

Role- Java Tech lead with React .

  • This role typically involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of full-stack applications, leveraging Java for backend services and React for frontend user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship :
  • Guiding and mentoring junior developers on best practices, coding standards, and technical solutions.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Facilitating technical discussions and decision-making within the team.
  • Software Development & Architecture :
  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust applications using Java (e.g., Spring Boot, Microservices) and React.js.
  • Ensuring the implementation of secure and performant API integrations between frontend and backend.
  • Contributing to architectural discussions and defining technical roadmaps for projects.
  • Project Management & Collaboration :
  • Collaborating with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks and dependencies.
  • Quality Assurance & Performance :

    • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

  • Implementing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

    • Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (e.g., Spring Framework, Microservices).
  • Strong expertise in React.js and its associated libraries / tools (e.g., Redux, Hooks, JSX).
  • Experience with relational and / or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
