Minibop Music Teacher (Toddler – Elementary)
We’re looking for a musically talented, emotionally intelligent teacher to join our growing team. If you love working with children and bring warmth, creativity, and confidence to the classroom, we want to meet you. You’ll lead age-appropriate music sessions using guitar, voice, movement, and rhythm instruments — curating lessons from our CLIMB curriculum while adding your own unique touch. This role offers meaningful morning work with room to grow within a mission-driven company.
Pay Range : $20-$25 per hour
Location : Los Angeles area (travel to assigned schools and class locations)
Responsibilities
- Lead music classes for children ages 0–8 in school, studio, and community settings
- Curate and adapt lessons based on Minibop’s curriculum themes and goals
- Support developmental milestones and learning outcomes through music
- Foster connection through rhythm, play, and responsive teaching
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families, school staff, and team members
- Set up and break down materials with care and consistency
- Travel to assigned schools and class locations across Los Angeles
Qualifications
Emotionally intelligent and deeply attuned to children’s needsA confident communicator who can engage both children and adultsA strong musician — guitar is required; piano, voice, and songwriting are a plusKnowledgeable in music theory and passionate about music educationExperience with young children (ages 0–5 preferred) and ability to adapt across toddler through early elementaryOrganized, dependable, and able to work independently and collaborativelyEntrepreneurial in spirit — initiative, ideas, and follow-throughCalm, kind, and consistent in the classroomSolid foundation in music theory and performanceGuitar proficiency (required); piano, voice, and / or songwriting experience preferredExperience in classroom, camp, or arts settings with young childrenReliable weekday availability and transportationA desire to make an impact in children's lives through meaningful, music-driven learningWhy Join Minibop
