Electrical Applications Engineer

MUSTS :

• 2+ years of experience as either : an electrical engineer or an application engineer with electrical systems
• Bachelors degree required
• Excellent Communication
• Electrical Design
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and experience, power systems, and controls experience (products are applied to power systems and controls come into play because it’s how customers integrate the product into their systems)
• Familiar with industry standard, including NFPA 70, NEC, UL Standards, IEC standards, and other standards related to electrical equipment
• Understanding of electrical systems including single & three phase AC and DC system

DAY TO DAY :

Application engineers act as the bridge between their clients and the engineer’s R&D centers typically based overseas. These professionals do not create new products, but rather modify existing technologies to the unique specifications of their customers. This role is heavily involved in conversating with people and customers.
