Performance Expert (R2PC) - Monterey, California

Overview

KBR is seeking a Performance Expert to help strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and DA Civilians located at Army Installations. The Resilience Training / Ready and Resilient Performance Center Program provides specialists focused on optimizing mental and physical health and supports existing Army training and education programs across installations. The work aims to increase the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, Department of the Defense personnel, US government agencies, Allied Forces (ROTC) Cadets, and Department of the Army Civilians (DAC).

Note : This position is contingent upon a vacancy at this location.

Responsibilities

• Master Resilience Trainers instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience to help ensure durability. Certified Performance Experts conduct training intake / registration, initial unit contact, observation, development of training plans, and prepare and tailor course materials. They facilitate training events, grade student materials, and document grades in required databases.
• Assess training impact by distributing surveys, provide survey results, and summarize activities in an After-Action Review (AAR) for every training session. Provide the AAR to leadership within five workdays, and a quarterly data analysis report. Maintain training records and observe instructors to provide feedback on delivery. Complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective delivery.
• Instruction focuses on applying resilience and performance enhancement to unit missions, incorporating resilience into higher-level guidance and training, building professional climates founded on mutual trust and cohesive teams, and empowering Leaders in communication and developmental counseling. The program delivers practical, real-world applications of resilience, leadership training, and related skills. The team provides tailored education and workshops to help personnel in demanding environments achieve personal, professional, and family goals.

Compensation & Benefits

To comply with California pay transparency laws, the following pay range information applies to positions located in California :

Basic Compensation : $68,700 - $126,600

The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the candidate’s level, location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and / or experience, and internal parity.

Additional Compensation : Bonuses, commissions, sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, short-term or long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance, per internal policy or contractual designation.
