Analyzes customer needs and seeks solutions to customer design problems in order to integrate Company products into customers' systems or subsystems. Primary purpose is to apply current products to increase market penetration. Under supervision, performs analysis, implementation, testing, and documentation using application design documents and requirements specifications. Travel required.

In this role you will

• Serve as Lead Engineer and / or project team member for DCS projects.
• Analyze, design, Implement, test and document project applications software using various Valmet product tools.
• Code and / or assist in coding and test of project custom software.
• Execute Configuration Management and Quality Assurance procedures on projects.
• Provide on-site customer support as needed.
• Have direct customer interaction usually associated with project software modifications.
• Develop and / or assist in technical proposal preparation.
