Overview
The Advanced Analytics Engineer will lead AI / ML initiatives that power strategic insights across Membership, Marketing, Education, and Annual Meeting data. This role focuses on designing and deploying machine learning models and integrating AI-driven analytics into Power BI dashboards to support data-informed decision-making and drive value for our members and the orthopedic community.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models using Python, R, and Power BI
- Integrate AI / ML into dashboards for real-time insights and automation
- Collaborate with BI engineers and stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable visualizations
- Optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality for scalable analytics
- Perform exploratory analysis across large, complex datasets
- Stay current on emerging AI / ML and BI trends to enhance capabilities
- Provide technical support and training to maximize adoption of analytics tools
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; master's degree preferred7+ years of relevant IT experience, including 5+ years in AI / ML and advanced analytics5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and performance optimizationProficiency in Python and R for data analysis, modeling, and workflow integrationStrong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data wrangling and transformationAbility to embed AI / ML models into BI tools and build predictive, prescriptive, and NLP-driven visualizationsSolid understanding of statistical modeling, A / B testing, and algorithm evaluationExperience designing scalable AI / ML solutions (e.g., segmentation, forecasting, anomaly detection)Clear communicator with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects independentlyFamiliarity with data governance, change management, and data stewardship best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Preferred :
Experience with medical associations or nonprofit organizationsKnowledge of AI ethics and responsible ML practicesFamiliarity with Large Language Models, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft FabricCertifications in AI / ML, Power BI, or Azure Data / AI servicesExperience with Power BI Embedded and enterprise BI integrationHands-on experience with Association Management SystemsStrong presentation skills and experience communicating insights to executive leadershipTravel
Up to 15 days per yearSalary Range : $79,000-$86,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
