Job Summary

The Structured Credit team is seeking a highly motivated Associate Structuring & Modeling to support the structuring underwriting and execution of complex loan portfolio transactions with a primary focus on small-balance commercial real estate (CRE) loans. This role offers exposure to the full deal lifecycle from initial data analysis and pool shaping to execution and ongoing portfolio management across securitizations bank warehouse facilities and bespoke financing structures.

Essential Job Functions

• Analyze extensive loan-level data tapes identify missing or inaccurate fields validate data integrity and transform raw datasets into accurate actionable formats.
• Contribute to loan pool evaluation and shaping through borrower collateral and market analysis.
• Build and maintain detailed cash flow and loan-level models for large diverse loan pools incorporating various financing structures such as securitizations bank warehouse lines and customized funding solutions.
• Model hedging strategies and assess the impact of interest rate and credit risk.
• Support the execution of securitized transactions (CMBS CRE CLO RMBS) and other asset-backed finance structures.
• Prepare high-quality materials for internal investment committees rating agencies capital markets counterparties and other external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (legal accounting servicing portfolio management) and external partners (rating agencies capital markets desks warehouse lenders) throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Assist in ongoing portfolio management including model updates as portfolios evolve and the development of tools to extract insights from performance trends.
