Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Level IV NICU | $120–$140 / Hour | 13-Week Full-Time Contract | Nights Only | New York, NY | Local & Travel Nurses Welcome

Location : New York, NY

Pay Rate : $120–$140 / hour (flexible and negotiable based on experience)

Schedule : 7 : 00 PM – 8 : 30 AM | Nights Only

Contract Length : 13 Weeks | High Possibility to Extend

Setting : Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Employment Type : Full-Time Contract (Part-Time candidates may be considered if able to commit to a minimum of 6–7 shifts per month)

Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a night-shift contract within a Level IV NICU at a leading hospital in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced neonatal care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment supporting newborns and their families.

Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care in neonatal critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage admissions and ongoing care for NICU patients, ensuring quality and continuity from stabilization through discharge
• Attend deliveries and provide immediate postnatal and resuscitative care for high-risk infants
• Perform or assist with advanced neonatal procedures such as intubations, umbilical and PIC line placements, arterial sticks, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and exchange transfusions (as needed)
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based practice and effective communication
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, plans, and interventions using Epic EMR
