Certified Welding Inspector (AWS CWI) / ASNT Level II- UT, PT & MT

From visual inspections of structural welds to structural steel and coating inspections, you'll make sure these jobs are done right. Requirements :

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading of drawings, plans, and / or blueprints.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills and related technology.
• Must possess valid driver's license and have good driving record. Drug-free workplace.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts and work at heights.
• Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment.
• Current AWS CWI Certification
• Structural Steel experience required
• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Certification.
• Experience with observing Structural Steel bolting and welded connections.
• Understanding of Special Inspections, tracking what has been inspected, and tracking of items noted as discrepancies.
• Ability to explain and interpret code and / or quality control requirements.
