Job Title : Dishwasher

Position Summary :

The Dishwasher will support food service operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dish room and other assigned areas. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning, dishwashing, and food service support tasks. The individual may also assist in retail, production, or catering areas as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform dishwashing and general clean-up duties in the kitchen and service areas.

Support trayline service, transport food to designated service areas, and handle trash removal.

Follow all instructions to maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and food safety.

Prevent waste by using chemicals appropriately and reporting misuse or unsafe practices to the supervisor.

Assist with basic food preparation or service tasks as assigned.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience :

Ability to speak, read, and follow verbal directions in English.

Must be able to work cooperatively with others and perform multiple tasks under supervision.

Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Previous experience in food service, customer service, or dishwashing.

Ability to perform simple calculations manually or with a calculator.

Knowledge of food production and service procedures.

Ability to delegate duties and maintain efficient work standards when needed.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of body mechanics, safety measures, and infection control.
