Job Requisition : 1st Shift Maintenance Technician Lead
Location : Elkhart, IN
Starting Pay Range : Negotiable – up to $100,000+ for the right candidate
Schedule : 1st Shift | 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM | 40–50 hrs / week, occasional Saturdays
Why This Role Matters :
This is a developmental leadership role . The position will provide proper training to move this person eventually into a maintenance manager role overseeing 3 facilities.
Your Responsibilities :
- Lead the 1st shift maintenance team
- Prioritize and assign preventive and emergency maintenance tasks
- Be the go-to expert for electrical systems — schematics, PLCs, drives, controls
- Diagnose root causes and guide team through complex problems
- Support mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs as needed
- Drive safety culture and enforce LOTO compliance
- Help with installations, plant upgrades, and capital projects
