Job Type : Full-time (Fully Remote)

Responsibilities

• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
• Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
• Preparing reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities
• Preparing final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling informed decisions; collaboration with business leaders and managers in the Claims Department to understand software and reporting needs
• Build and maintain models to estimate ultimate loss costs, often using techniques like loss development triangles
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, develop factors, and assess loss characteristics
• Work with underwriting, claims, finance, and other teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment on reserving assumptions
• Support audits and provide documentation and analysis for external regulators
• Report to management any issues or concerns that may be detrimental to the department or company
• Maintain that sensitive information regarding employees and the company is kept confidential
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Advanced data knowledge, Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics.

Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience is desired.

Salary Description : $150,000-175,000 annually plus bonus eligible
