About The Arc : The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. As our enthusiastic and hardworking Residence Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) :

• Facility management including ensuring proper maintenance of grounds and buildings, scheduling needed repairs, providing routine supervision of residence desk, canteen, laundry, and janitorial staff, supervising inside or outside workers for special projects or repairs, and ordering needed supplies.
• Beneficiary supervision including providing orientation of new beneficiaries, assigning rooms, monitoring beneficiary activities, providing short-term crisis counseling, providing recreational programming, supervising breathalyzer testing, supervising collection of urine test specimens, acting as a role model for beneficiaries, making security rounds, ensuring fire drills, maintaining good order and discipline, coordinating special events, driving a Salvation Army passenger van, maintaining records and statistics, coordinating vacation time, knowing ARC safety regulations, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications to be considered for this position include a high school graduate or equivalent, program graduate with continuing involvement in a program of recovery, ability to supervise beneficiaries, possession of a valid driver's license, integrity, resourcefulness, initiative, and evidence of self-improvement, no evidence of existing chemical dependency, and must reside on-site in room designated for Residence Manager. Work schedules are determined by management and employee must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage.
