Our client is a well-established electrical contracting firm based in South Amboy , New Jersey , recognized for delivering high-quality electrical installations across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. With a strong reputation for excellence, integrity, and long-term client relationships, the company continues to expand and is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead key projects across the New York region.

Position Summary :

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This individual will act as the primary liaison between clients, general contractors, field personnel, and company leadership—driving performance, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Lead and manage electrical construction projects ranging from $2M to $25M+ in value.

Oversee all phases of project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with estimators, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Maintain client communication and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

Conduct project meetings, track progress, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.

Review and approve project billings, cost forecasts, and financial reports.

Mentor junior project managers, project engineers, and field staff.

Partner with leadership to develop long-term client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications :

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical construction project management .

Proven background managing commercial, healthcare, data center, or institutional projects .

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Strong understanding of NEC, building codes, and construction safety regulations .

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, Accubid, and Procore (or similar project management tools).

Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
