Contracts Manager

The primary responsibility of this role will play a key part in managing the lifecycle of contracts across the company and support the Procurement departments objective to implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk for the business. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Procurement, this position will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are executed correctly and risks are identified and mitigated. You will act as the main point of contact between procurement, business departments, and external vendors / clients ensuring compliance and performance are achieved across all contracts.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work and other agreements as necessary to support Vendor, Client Partnerships and business needs.
• Manage complete contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and renewal, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• Identify and flag critical terms including indemnification clauses, liability provisions, and risk factors.
• Provide clear recommendations on contract terms and business implications.
• Build and maintain close relationships with business departments and vendor partners to deliver comprehensive and cross-enterprise process improvement solutions.
• Communicate and educate business departments and vendors on current procurement policies and procedures.
• Develop strategies for cost reduction and lead negotiations of all fees, rates, subsidies and any other associated costs.
• Manage req to PO process for assigned commodities.
• Maintain and manage the contract database, ensuring all contracts are accurately recorded, updated, and easily accessible.
