Summary
Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures.
Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
Qualifications : Education
Education
Required : Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School
Experience
Required : 6 months in clinical setting
Preferred : 2 years
Certifications
Required : Registry eligible and BLS.
Preferred : RDMS or RDCS
