QE Automation

Key Responsibilities ( Cypress and Robot Framework Mandatory )

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Robot Framework for UI API and end-to-end testing.

Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define test strategies identify test scenarios and ensure full coverage of business requirements.

Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab or similar).

Implement test data management logging and reporting mechanisms for better traceability and debugging.

Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts and enforce best practices for maintainability and performance.

Contribute to the overall QE roadmap continuously enhancing automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Investigate document and report defects using standard bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).

Participate in sprint planning retrospectives and support shift-left testing initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Experience in QA Automation with a focus on Cypress and Robot Framework .

Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and Python scripting.

Experience in API testing web application testing and cross-browser validation .

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automation integration with tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps .

Strong understanding of QA methodologies test design techniques and SDLC / STLC principles.

Experience with version control tools (Git / GitHub / GitLab).

Excellent problem-solving skills analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Docker Kubernetes or other containerization technologies.

Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter or k6 .

Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS Azure or GCP).

Familiarity with BDD / TDD frameworks and practices.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
