Research Operations Manager
Under the leadership of a Vice President, Director, Group Practice Director and / or Physician Leader, the individual in this position is responsible for and requires the greatest allocation of time focused on activities associated with research operations.
Assists their leadership with the implementation of short- and long-term plans for the department and or research functional area.
Assists with the development of financial and operational planning and analysis including budgets and pro forma business plan analysis.
May represent the Department, Specialty, and / or Business Unit on various internal and external committees.
Represents Henry Ford Health via community involvement.
Supports the Business Unit by implementing various initiatives.
This position will focus approximately 80% on daily operations and 20% on strategy.
Education / Experience Required :
Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, Bioscientific / Clinical / Functional area, or related field.
Master's Degree preferred.
Two (2) years of experience leading a project or team.
Research experience and leadership experience preferred.
Skilled in organizational attributes.
Ability to communicate in writing and orally to support, direct, and work with employees, leadership, physicians, and various external audiences.
Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets knowledge.
