About the job

We are looking for a Principal Software Architect to serve as the technical visionary and team lead for our software engineering teams. You will be the architectural backbone of ActGPT, designing the holistic software system that orchestrates everything from our advanced AI agents to the physical execution of tasks on the factory floor.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines high-level system design with mentorship and guidance. You will execute on the company's technical roadmap, while leading talented engineers responsible for building our entire software stack. Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership : Lead the design and evolution of the software architecture for the entire ActGPT platform, encompassing agentic systems, the robotic control layer, and user-facing interfaces.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship : Mentor and lead a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and ownership.
• Technical Strategy : Establish and champion best practices for software development, including coding standards, design patterns, robust testing strategies, and CI / CD pipelines.
• System Design : Design and oversee the implementation of core system components, including hardware interfaces, motion planning solutions, and advanced simulation frameworks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with tech, product, and operations teams to translate product requirements into a cohesive technical vision and roadmap.
• Hands-on Contribution : Remain hands-on by tackling the most complex technical challenges and contributing to critical parts of the codebase to guide the team by example.
