Payroll Specialist
This position works with UPS systems, and internal and external contacts to ensure employees are paid correctly. Responsibilities include supporting payroll processes and maintaining confidentiality of payroll information.
Qualifications include excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, and the ability to create and run large queries using Microsoft Access. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, is also required. Prior payroll experience and knowledge of union contractual language and non-union wage plans are preferred.
Other criteria include this job being a grade 7, hours of operation from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm EST, the last day to apply for internal applicants being 11 : 59pm EST on 10 / 28 / 2025, and the requirement to be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate. No relocation assistance is offered, and the employer will not sponsor visas for this position.
