What You Will Do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for achieving Amgen's business and financial objectives in the assigned territory, ensuring compliance with sales and collection targets.

The position will be located in Cali and will work cross-functionally with key internal teams including Marketing, Access, Finance, Supply, and Medical Affairs to ensure the effective rollout of commercial strategies and the optimization of resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business and Financial Objectives

  • Achieve business targets and financial goals, ensuring sales and collection objectives are met in the assigned territory or accounts.
  • Monitor business performance and propose corrective actions as needed to optimize results.

2. Value-Based Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to position Amgen's products effectively, highlighting differentiated value propositions aligned with customer needs.
  • Promote long-term, trust-based relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • 3. Market Insights and Field Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitors, and field findings.
  • Communicate timely and relevant insights to the organization to support decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in business priorities, performance excellence, and optimal resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative commercial initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • 5. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with Amgen's ethical and regulatory standards in all commercial interactions.
  • Support planning and forecasting processes with accurate and timely market input.
  • What We Expect Of You

This position requires a deep understanding of the Colombian pharmaceutical market, strong relationship-building skills, and a value-based selling approach focused on delivering sustainable business growth beyond price.

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in customer-facing roles such as Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Sales Manager.
  • Knowledge of the Colombian healthcare and pharmaceutical market.
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time (approximately one week per month).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced studies (MBA or MSc) are a plus.
  • Advanced English proficiency
