The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) is a 32 bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care : floor, telemetry, and intermediate care for acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided : coronary artery bypass, Heartmate© II or III & Heartware© mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation. During the week there is an experienced resource nurse available to assist with admissions / discharges, transport monitoring, and emergencies. Registered Nurses (RNs) will participate in a full orientation including core department of surgery and critical care classes.

Important Notices :

Salary Range : Minimum 38.49 per hour - Maximum 59.66 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
