Position Summary

The Physician provides patient care services by independently and interdependently scheduling, supervising, and / or conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; independently participate in the delivery of direct patient care within the scope of authority granted by the Louisiana State Board of Medicine and following our protocols and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree with a concentration in the respective specialty from an accredited college or university. Board eligible or certified in a primary care specialty preferred.

Current CPR certification

Experience

Current Louisiana Medical license and knowledge of scope of practice.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and MS Office.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Calm, professional attitude in stressful situations and interactions.

High level of ethics in maintaining patient confidentiality.

Excellent analytical skills to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop and implement a care plan.
