Program Manager
Responsible for all key program management activities leading BAND-IT's Operations Model deployment along with key new product development ("NPD"). Lead the 80 / 20 function, goal deployment, and lend program management skills across the IDEX Operations Model throughout the BAND-IT global organization. Responsible for program management of costs, schedule, quality, and processes to design and development of key NPD projects. Champion BAND-IT's IDEX Operations Model by leading key processes in the deployment and execution of best-in-class Op Model usage. Act as program lead for 80 / 20 implementation. Perform analytics and implement 80 / 20 methodologies across the global BAND-IT organization. Lead global Goal Deployment process as well as work with senior leadership to develop X-Matric and work with teams to develop and measurable goals and action plans. Create a culture of Root-Cause and Countermeasure by utilizing key forms across the organization to drive accountability and change management. Lead specific advanced design projects and new product development. Responsible for leadership across multiple cross-functional departments for basic and advanced projects related to new products. Develop and coordinate engineering projects and programs to ensure project staff and cross-functional teams complete assigned project requirements on time. Lead teams to develop new products from concept to launch, including mechanical hand tools, stampings, and industrial automation. Define scope of work and accurately estimate required effort and time. Perform technical studies, prepare specifications and technical plans, and review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinate the integration of technical activities and products and maintain accurate files in accordance with applicable company processes and IATF / 1S0 standards. Look for opportunities to improve product development processes as well as work with manager and / or patent attorney to determine patent feasibility and provide necessary documentation. Manage continuous improvement process by presenting problems and possible solutions to the appropriate personnel.
Requires Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Production Engineering or related engineering field and 5 years of experience in the following : new product development; Lean concept; 80 / 20; working with contractors, outside service providers, and vendors; and experience taking product design from concept to finished component drawings using 3D CAD systems. Scheduled remote work allowed in conjunction with required in office days in Denver, Colorado.
