Project Manager - Industrial Construction
Location : Louisville, KY (On-site)
Hourly Rate : $45.67 - $62.50 (based on experience)
Equivalent to $95,000 - $130,000 annual salary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of managing complex projects for large-scale construction efforts.
Candidates must have experience in building construction and be able to handle project planning for :
- Construction of a 4000 sqft building with one floor.
- Adding meters (instruments) to process lines like steam, compressed air, etc.
- Upgrading security systems at the site level.
- Some minor small projects.
This contract role requires a minimum of 16 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week, depending on project needs, and runs from July 2025 through March 2026. The position is fully on-site and open only to U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure the framework of the project or program (including resource definition) aligns with objectives set by the sponsor and steering committee.Lead the project using the company's project approach and adhere to standards (project sheet, compass, governance, budget management, milestone checklists, GPS, etc.).Meet project objectives and requirements, respecting quality, cost, and timing components.Manage the cross-functional team in accordance with company management orientations, including transversal management.Account for change management and ensure expected results are achieved.What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with proven construction scheduling experience.5+ years of project management experience in large-scale construction of chemical manufacturing or industrial sites.Successful track record supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial site construction.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field inputs, and milestone tracking.Excellent communication skills, time management, and ability to work full-time on-site.Benefits :
