Overview

The Senior Strategist, focused on a fintech client's B2B Campaign & Creative Strategy, will lead B2B campaign briefs to bring the vision of the full funnel, B2B platform for this client to life. This role partners with client B2B and P3 creative teams to define the creative opportunity for campaign executions, surface relevant market and industry trends, and illustrate how our client's B2B audiences will engage across campaign journeys. Successful candidates in this role should have B2B experience and an understanding of the commerce / ecommerce and fintech industries.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Market and Competitor Trends : Conduct ongoing B2B commerce and fintech industry research, reviewing current campaign strategies (messages, creative platforms, and brand positioning) and direct & indirect competitor activities (Stripe, Square, Adyen, Two Sided Marketplaces like Doordash, Reddit, Instacart). Turn these insights into actionable ideas and thought starters applicable to this client's B2B platform.
  • Conduct Audience Research and Create Campaign Journeys : Conduct audience research using 3rd party and industry resources and partner with client customer research teams to inform creative direction by bringing in the perspective of the four core B2B audiences (Solo Entrepreneur, SMB, Large Enterprise, Developer / eCommerce Platform). You should be comfortable turning these insights into Ideal Customer Profiles and informing Account Based Marketing strategies.
  • Develop Campaign Briefs : Work closely with strategy (client, partner agency, P3), creative, and media teams to author briefs that guide messaging for B2B platform campaign assets, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the B2B Brand and Campaign narratives. Should have experience building briefs for assets across digital, social, email, and traditional channels.
  • Provide Strategic Oversight to Internal Teams : Partner directly with creative, account and delivery teams to provide strategic support during creative execution, ensuring creative outputs align with integrated campaign and creative platform goals.
  • Collaboration & Coordination : Connect with cross-functional teams across P3 and external partners to ensure campaign and messaging alignment across B2B and B2C workstreams.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing creative strategies for complex B2B campaigns that reach multiple B2B audience segments.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive research using syndicated research tools and translate findings into strategic insights.
  • Strong understanding of the creative development and production process, with proven experience in being a consultative voice for creative teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and articulate strategic directions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, adapting strategies based on evolving insights and feedback.
  • Experience reaching B2B audiences through specific channel strategies (digital, social, email, etc.), building Ideal Customer Profiles and familiarity B2B marketing strategies like Account Based Marketing is preferred.

    Compensation Range : $84,500 - $115,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
