As a Hospice Volunteer, you will play a vital role in the care of patients. The Ideal Volunteer will be compassionate, sympathetic, patient and kind-hearted. If you feel that you fit this criteria, we would love to have you and we know the patients and families will too!

We are seeking volunteers in the Denver Area (Denver, Littleton, Lakewood), Westminster Area (Broomfield, Westminster, North Glenn), Longmont Area (Longmont, Greely, Fort Collins).

Job Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support to patients / families
• Provide companionship to patient
• Provides respite to family / caregivers
• Reports response of patient / family to Hospice staff
• Reports day / time spent with patient, within 24 hours, to Volunteer Coordinator
