Job Description
As a Delivery Station Manager, you will :
- Oversee Daily Operations : Direct and manage all daily station activities, including the efficient receiving, sorting, and dispatching of packages, ensuring adherence to established operational protocols and quality standards.
- Optimize Fleet Performance : Collaborate strategically with the Fleet Manager to enhance driver delivery efficiency, optimize routing, and implement performance-driven strategies to achieve and exceed delivery key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Resolve Operational Issues : Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges that arise within the station, ensuring minimal disruption to service levels. This includes timely reporting of critical issues and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Leverage Technology and Data : Utilize the company's proprietary software and analytical tools to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven solutions for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration : Serve as a key liaison, collaborating effectively with internal teams (e.g., customer service, IT, other operational departments) and external partners to ensure seamless operations and achieve overarching business objectives.
- Ensure Compliance and Safety : Uphold stringent safety standards and ensure full compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with :
Proven Leadership : A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, delivery dispatch, or a similar logistics operations management role, preferably within a fast-paced last-mile delivery environment.Operational Acumen : Strong understanding of logistics principles, supply chain dynamics, and last-mile delivery challenges.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and implement effective solutions.Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Superior verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively leading a diverse team, engaging with stakeholders, and presenting performance insights.Technical Proficiency : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis) and a proven ability to quickly learn and master new operational software systems.Adaptability & Drive : A highly motivated individual with a strong learning aptitude, resilience in the face of challenges, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Language Proficiency : Primary working language is English. Proficiency in Chinese and / or Spanish is highly advantageous.
