We strive to be a resource for local families and schools, providing training about autism and ABA therapy, information about local speech, OT, and PT providers, diagnosing physicians, and autism advocacy groups. About the Role :
As an RBT, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You will play a crucial role in helping clients develop and improve their social, communication, and behavioral skills. By implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies, you will contribute to the overall well-being and progress of individuals with ASD. Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of your clients and their families, as you help them navigate the challenges associated with ASD and promote their independence and inclusion in society.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Active RBT Certification through the BACB
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Experience working as an ABA Therapist or in a similar role
- High school diploma or GED
- Be at least 18 years of age (per BACB licensure requirements)
- Clear background check
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, sitting – in both a chair and on the floor, squatting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Providing a safe, organized environment for effective learning to occurTeaching expressive and receptive communication skills through the use of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques as outlined in the client's daily lesson planTeaching daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hand washing, toothbrushing, feeding, and other hygiene related tasksEntering data on teaching trials and behavior goals into Catalyst, an iPad programFollowing individualized behavior plans written by the client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Communicating with caregivers through objective, data driven notes and in person interactionsUpholding the Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code
