We are looking for teachers who are friendly, professional, self-motivated, patient, able to make sound judgments, have a strong work ethic, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Arrive on time and in appropriate attire for your shift
- Be familiar with current child care regulations both local and Federal
- Greet each child and parent as they enter the classroom
- Keep teacher's work station tidy
- Provide a safe and secure environment for your children
- Keep classroom decorated with children's art work
- Interact with children at their eye level throughout the day
- Prepare weekly thematic lessons that are in line with our curriculum and developmentally appropriate for children
- Be prepared for and participate in parent / teacher conferences if applicable
- Attend staff meetings and special events
- Follow protocol for sanitation of classroom
- Follow daily schedule within the center for meals, outside, and snack times
- Maintain open lines of communication with Director, Assistant Director, and Owner
- Maintain current physical, Gateways, and training (as required)
Minimum of 1+ year of Early Childhood experience preferred but will train.
