DXA / Multi-Modality Technologist – Outpatient | Reston-Herndon, VA | Weekdays Only | Sign-on Bonus Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a DXA / Multi-Modality Technologist to join our Reston-Herndon Imaging Center.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality patient care through DXA scanning and diagnostic imaging, with the opportunity to cross-train in mammography.

Your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise help ensure every patient has a positive experience, even in moments of uncertainty.

About the Role This is a full-time, benefitted position.

The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 :

• 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM.
• There are no weekends, holidays, or call.
• Free on-site parking is available.

What You’ll Do Perform screening and diagnostic DXA scans Independently perform mammography exams (or cross-train into mammography if not yet certified) Consistently produce accurate, high-quality images following clinical protocols Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy Maintain accurate documentation in PACS / RIS and collaborate with radiologists and team members What You’ll Bring ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) Active Virginia RT license BLS certification Mammography experience preferred, with opportunity for cross-training in mammography and DXA Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach Why You’ll Love Working Here Fairfax Radiology Centers offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including :
