Job description

What You'll Do

oking for a Financial Analyst II to join our Retirement and Income Solutions Actuarial Modeling team. In this role, you'll provide support to Actuarial, Accounting and Finance areas focusing on reporting, analysis and process automation.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Complete assigned projects, including gathering and organizing information and statistical and numerical analysis, with consideration to timing required and quality of work documentation needed; report on progress and final results.
  • Provide similar technical assistance to other departments involving research, statistical and financial analysis. Solve questions and problems. Present results to the appropriate audience.
  • Analyze and review financial information.
  • Work towards self-development by expanding knowledge of department, line of business, and industry.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, finance or equivalent experience required
  • 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Must have strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills required
  • Must have good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn, is preferred
  • Experience with programming languages (SAS, SQL, VBA), or the ability to learn, is
  • Salary Range Information

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

    $54000 - $98400 / year

    Time Off Program

    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

    This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
