Overhead Transmission Line Structural Engineer – Staff – Black & Veatch – Full-time – Hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days.
Opportunity
As a Structural Transmission Line Engineer you will support design engineering and analysis on large, extensive 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including trending technologies like HVDC and 765kV. You will collect data, perform research, prepare calculations, develop recommendations, and work within budget, schedule, quality, and client relationship requirements. With minimal supervision you will apply advanced engineering techniques, mentor team members, and contribute to business development activities.
