Responsibilities
- Supports electrical and automation control systems development and troubleshooting plant-wide.
- Designs and implements modifications to existing electrical systems including robotics, automation equipment and CNC machines.
- Solicits bids, selects contractors, and coordinates activities with internal departments.
- Ensures projects are completed within budget and on schedule, ensuring that the vendors follow all safety requirements.
- Coordinates and supervises major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions on equipment and facilities.
- Maintains necessary records and documentation, preparing management reports as necessary.
- Implements and maintains computerized PLC and CNC systems.
- Engages in continuous improvement with IT and integrated process monitoring systems.
- Follows plant standards for filing and maintaining documentation per ISO standards; maintains up-to-date machine design documentation for all machines.
- Reviews engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommends changes as necessary.
- Prepares, manages and implements capital budget projects; supports Six Sigma projects.
- Facilitates effective communication to plant management on project status.
Qualifications & Skills
BSEE or equivalent technical degreeMinimum 5 years related experienceFamiliar with risk assessments and safety evaluationAbility to manage multiple projects with flexibility to adapt to conflicting requirementsKnowledge of city, state, and federal electrical codes; knowledge of mechanical and safety codes preferredKnowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-BusPLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and / or Allen BradleyDemonstrated ability to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and ladder diagrams, function block diagrams, STL to troubleshoot systemsExceptional computer literacy; Microsoft and AutoCAD desiredHands-on experience with equipment controlsBenefits

Salary range : $121,100.00-$168,300.00
