The Opportunity
We are seeking an HSE Field Coordinator to serve as the primary on-site expert responsible for assuring compliance across INRs Production Midstream and Drilling & Completions (D&C) Field Operations. Based out of our Marietta OH office this role requires deep subject matter expertise to ensure adherence to local state and federal environmental health and safety regulations. You will actively support field teams by guiding them in maintaining compliance promoting safety and environmental stewardship and advancing key INR HSE objectives. This pivotal field-based position is essential for upholding our rigorous standards and driving operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As an HSE Field Coordinator youll play a key role in serving as the primary subject matter expert assuring environmental health and safety compliance with all local state and federal regulations across INRs field operations including Production Midstream and D&C teams. Your responsibilities will include :
- Continually evaluate applicable Company HSE programs plans and procedures for effective implementation based on field operations employee and contractor compliance with corporate policies;
- Facilitate emergency response regulatory reporting and remediation services to support applicable personnel as needed;
- Participate in an on-call rotation specifically for handling HSE incidents reported through Company incident notification systems and 24-hr hotline;
- Review and facilitate HSE incident investigations received within operations regions and assure corrective actions are taken by management to prevent similar future incidents;
- Conduct effective training for applicable management operations personnel and contractors regarding applicable Company HSE policies programs and procedures as directed;
- Act as a liaison between Company management operations personnel and contractors to implement applicable Company HSE compliance initiatives;
- Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Safety Startup Review (PSSR) related to applicable facility design and commissioning activities;
- Assist with the implementation monitoring and continuous improvement of company HSE programs ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements industry standards and corporate objectives;
- Assist with development and maintenance of HSE documentation including safety manuals environmental policies and frameworks;
- Support operational teams in developing and reviewing job hazard analyses (JHAs) and safe work practices;
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and conduct contractor safety evaluations and pre-job meetings;
- Support waste management spill response and environmental remediation activities;
- Coordinate internal / external audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies and requirements;
- Stay informed on applicable regulations and industry best practices;
- Maintain accurate records ensure compliance with regulations and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency;
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in adapting to changing priorities and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- Adhere to company policies procedures and ethical standards while fostering collaboration with team members to achieve organizational goals;
- Drive employee engagement in safety and environmental programs ensuring alignment across field operations and corporate offices;
- Support due diligence efforts associated with M&A from a HSE perspective;
Your Background :
B.S. degree in occupational safety environmental science or similar;25 years of experience in HSE preferably in the oil and gas industry. Recommended experience with compliance tracking systems safety programs and sustainability reporting preferred.Strong understanding of HSE and ESG concepts regulatory requirements and industry standards in the oil and gas sector.Knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant state regulatory agencies.Ability to conduct site inspections hazard analyses and incident investigations.Proficient communication skills both written and verbal enabling clear and concise interaction with stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Familiarity with HSE systems and software (i.e. KPA Veriforce etc.).Capacity to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.Commitment to continuous improvement professional growth and maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge.Physical Requirements
