Medical Biller

Location: La Mesa (on-site)

Duration: Temp to hire

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay $22-24/hr

About the company: We provide Professional Medical billing services and institutional/facility billing services for cardiovascular and orthopedic billing

Responsibilities:

• Manage and post charges per batch Retrieve charge batches from various EHR platforms
• Group charge batches from platforms
• Organize and sequence ICD-10 and CPT codes per client request
• Use modifiers and add-on codes as needed
• Audit codes for accuracy and manage discrepancies
• additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10, CPT and EHR systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office, EPIC, Athena or Advanced MD
• High school diploma
