Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage a small team and oversee high-volume invoice processing. This role is hands-on - you'll review POs, reconciliations, and vendor issues while coaching your team for success. Great step for someone who's ready to grow into a bigger leadership path.

Location : Nashville, TN (100% in office)

Job Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000 / year

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Accounts Payable specialists in their day-to-day processing work.
• Oversee the full-cycle AP process, including review of invoice discrepancies, vendor set-up, check runs, and reconciliations.
• Ensure purchase order matching and compliance with established controls.
• Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and accurate vendor records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Review and support annual 1099 reporting requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining SOX compliance and internal audit standards.
• Collaborate with management to track KPIs and support continuous improvement.
• Provide accounting support during month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support internal and external audits.
