Oracle Project Manager (Denver)

Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract to hire position. This person will manager Oracle utility software implementations from RFP to user acceptance. Project teams vary from 20 to 100 team members, including analysts, configuration experts, developers, testers, and customer SMEs. Project teams are typically a mixture of employees and consultants, onshore and offshore. Budgets can run into the multi-millions.

Required :

• 10+ years COTS software customizations and implementations for external customers (RFP to user acceptance).
• Utility, telecom or financial services industry experience.
• Experience managing project finances - both fixed price and time / materials.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, risk management and client management skills.
• Comfortable with a mixture of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
