Principal Engineer (Routing, MPLS)

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer (Routing, MPLS).

Key Responsibilities

Architect solutions for Access and Edge networks using Layer 3 technologies for service automation and operational efficiency

Analyze product requirements and customer use-cases to ensure scalability and resiliency across cloud and network elements

Design and implement integration solutions for commercial protocol stacks and develop abstraction layer code for control plane solutions

Required Qualifications

15+ years of experience in design and development of Routing protocols (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP) and IP Multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP)

Hands-on development experience with MPLS protocols (L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS, LDP, TE)

Proficient in Segment Routing (SR-MPLS, TI-LFA, EVPN) and knowledgeable in SR use-cases

Experience with Embedded Networking / Telecom products and strong coding skills in C / C++ and Python

BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
