Job descriptionScheduling & Coordination : Develop and manage daily driver and vehicle schedules to ensure all routes are covered efficiently and on time. Communication : Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, maintenance staff, school partners, and management. Maintain clear, professional communication throughout the day. Problem-Solving : Respond promptly to service disruptions such as vehicle breakdowns, absences, or route changes. Implement solutions to minimize delays and maintain service quality. Monitoring Operations : Track route progress and ensure compliance with safety and company policies. Previous dispatch or transportation coordination experience preferred (school bus or trucking industry a plus). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Working knowledge of GPS, routing, or dispatching systems is a plus. Familiarity with Chicago streets and neighborhoods preferred.
