Responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining network infrastructure to support data, voice, video, and wireless services. Provides hands-on support for routers, switches, firewalls, VMWare NSX, and load balancers while optimizing network performance and security.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Network Design & Maintenance
• Configure and manage LAN / WAN environments, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Implement and manage Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions.
• Maintain fiber switches and associated infrastructure.
• Optimize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive upgrades.
• Security & Compliance
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Enforce IT security policies, including access controls and 802.1X authentication.
• Conduct network security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Wireless & Cloud Networking
• Manage Cisco Meraki wireless access points.
• Ensure secure and efficient wireless connectivity.
• Work with virtualized networking environments (VMware NSX, vCenter).
• Support & Documentation
• Provide technical support and incident response within SLA guidelines.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Telecom Support
• Provide technical support for Unified Cisco Call Manager (UCCM, UCaaS).
• Proficient in voice and related technology.
• Troubleshooting circuits and ISP related issues.
