Lead Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering efforts across full project lifecycle
• Review and validate engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation
• Perform hydraulic, thermal, and code compliance calculations
• Design and specify piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment
• Develop P&IDs and general arrangement layouts
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and electrical engineers
• Conduct inspections, support commissioning, and assist with operator training
• Travel (5–20%) for site visits, installations, and startups
• Ensure safety compliance and foster team collaboration
