Business Development Sales Professional
The Business Development Sales Professional is responsible for new account development in existing or new markets. Typically, does not have a base business where they are responsible for the retention or expansion of business at existing customers.
General Responsibilities
Oversees new account development within an established geographic territory / product line.
Advises on connecting, contacting, and engaging new potential clients and prospects.
Leads a strong and consistent pipeline of new business.
Oversees customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Innovates and create sales skills and knowledge of the organizations products, services and customers
Oversees implementing efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customers
Base Salary Range : $116,500.00 - $160,160.00
