• IRS New Carrollton, MD (Hybrid / Onsite as required) Clearance :  Recent IRS Clearance    We are seeking a Senior Testing Services SME with direct IRS program experience to support the GMF Modernization program.
• The SME will guide the development and execution of testing strategies across system and integration testing, ensuring compliance with IRS OneSDLC, enterprise testing standards, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the lead advisor for performance and capacity testing using LoadRunner, Splunk, and AIX monitoring tools in IRS enterprise environments.
• Provide SME-level direction for automated testing frameworks, integrating Selenium, Jira / Xray, and CI / CD pipelines into IRS workflows.
• Oversee defect management processes in IRS tools such as IRWorks / SNOW , ensuring traceability and resolution tracking.
• Validate testing deliverables against IRS QASP performance standards (timeliness, accuracy, completeness).
• Mentor IRS and contractor test teams on best practices for functional, regression, and automated testing under agile delivery models.
• Represent Testing Services during IRS technical reviews, ensuring IRS standards and compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience in testing leadership roles, with direct IRS or Treasury program support .
• SME-level expertise in LoadRunner, Splunk, AIX, Selenium, Jira / Xray .
• Demonstrated success in developing automated regression and performance testing strategies for IRS systems.
• Strong knowledge of IRS testing environments, OneSDLC standards, and QASP deliverable compliance .
• Experience mentoring cross-functional test teams and engaging directly with IRS stakeholders.
