Patient Registration Representative

The Patient Registration Representative is responsible for registering new and existing patients, handling patient payments and questions about bills, and providing timely and accurate information to patients and customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Greets patients and families as they arrive to the clinic
• Directs patients. Monitors lobby and waiting room areas
• Directs non patient visitors to their destination
• Provides assistance to patients using check-in kiosks
• Communicates wait times with patients when necessary
• Creates new and updates existing patient charts; verifies patient demographics
• Collects co-pays and verifies correct insurance information
• Addresses patient questions regarding eligibility and / or balance concerns
• Answers incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner

Environmental / Working Conditions :

Working environment is in an office / clinic setting. Consistent work hours outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.
